I wrote an article for Canadian internet news

I received e-mail from Jewish elementary school teacher. The details
are in the previous post of mine. She was looking for the organization
to sponsor their students' donation.
So we decided to coordinate the money from Vancouver, Canada to
Kamaishi and the elementary school where I graduated.
The amount was $269 CAD which I rounded it up to a total of 30,000 yen
that was donated to the school.
The school posted the photo and posters where everyone can see.
I wish there can be more exchange between those Kamaishi kids and Jewish kids.
故郷釜石のことをカナダのインターネット新聞に書いたところ、地元のユダヤ系の小学校の先生から連絡がありました。(詳細は前回のブログ）
縁あって、私がむか～し卒業した学校に、むか～し、昔卒業した父親が義援金を届けてくれました。
学校からの＄269カナダドルに私から少し追加し3万円です。
小学校には、皆さんが見えるところにカナダの生徒さんが書いたポスターや写真を貼ってくださっているそうです。
今後も何かお互いの交流のお手伝いが出来ればと思っています。
